PAA Philanthropic Donations December 2024 for Crete and US
Donations totaled more than $46,000.00 from the PAA Investment Fund
PAMEA–This facility is a 24/7 Living Facility for the Elderly and Physically Challenged Individuals. Purchased 2 food warmers and one large kitchen sink.
PROSTASIAS PAIDIOU KAI NEON–BOYS ORPHANAGE–One food warmer
KIFAMEA–a daycare center for Disabled individuals of all ages. A wheelchair lift to help transfer patients from their van to their facility.
KIFAP AMEA MEGALOHARI–Daycare for Autistic individuals of all ages where activities and therapies are offered all day, along with meals, all free for families. Funds donated are going to Operating Expenses.
METROPOLIS KIDONIAS & APOKORONOU–Food Kitchen that serves over 600 people everyday (free of charge). Funds donated are going to Operating Expenses.
SYNANTHROPOS–This organization fundraises for causes throughout Crete. Funds donated go towards the handicapped swimming pool for KIFAMEA.
AGIOS NEKTARIOS IDRYMA–Orphanage for Girls– Funds donated are going to Operating Expenses.
ORIZONTOS FILOXENIA HOUSE–This organization has houses/apartments in Athens to house children and their families while receiving cancer treatments. Free to all individuals for housing. Funds donated are going to Operating Expenses.
IERA MHTROPOLI LAMPIS, SYVRITOU & SFAKION AT FOUFOURA– A food kitchen that provides two meals a day for over 110 people who need assistance throughout the region of Rethymnon. Needs funds to purchase meat and operating expenses.
METROPOLIS OF RETHYMNO AND AVLOPOTAMOU, THEOMETER– Food Kitchen and support for families. Funds donated are going to Operating Expenses.
PARATIMA PROSTASIAS PAIDIOU PAPAIK TOMBIAS–24/7 living facility for disabled people. The PAA rents a house next to the facility for five children to help them go to school and to help them thrive in a home setting. PAA covers the rent and utilities.
PANAGIA KALIVIANI–This facility houses elderly people and it also supports children to go to college and families that have financial challenges. Funds donated are going to Operating Expenses
PROSTASIAS PAIDIOU KAI NEON LASITHIOU–BOYS ORPHANAGE IN NEAPOLIS, LASITHI with 15 to 20 boys whose families cannot afford to have their boys currently in their homes due to financial constraints. The young boys are at the facility Monday through Friday and go home on the weekends. Funds will help build 6 new doors in their bedrooms and repair 9 other doors.
PHILANTHROPICOS SILOGOS SAMARITIS–They support families who are facing financial hardship and they help cover expenses that include rent, utilities, medical, college tuition and other needs. Funds donated are going to Operating Expenses
PHILOXENIA CHARITY HOUSE – MINNESOTA–This US based facility has three homes for families who stay free of charge during their medical treatments at the Mayo Clinic. Funds donated are going to Operating Expenses
